Kauf Dich Glücklich (Original & Atwashere Remix)

Sometimes you get a text message and it's immediately clear that the content is actually too big for the few lines. In the same way, it was immediately clear that “Kauf Dich Glücklich” ("Buy Yourself Happy") had to be heard! Peter Panisch is an artist whose lyrical skills are indisputable. In his German slam-poetry lyrics, he makes you laugh and cry at the same time because of the absurdities of life. That's exactly how we felt when we heard this song for the first time. What's more, the musical part was done by Dub Schober. He knows what he's doing ... and you can hear it. Why? Because he has been an active part of the local dub and sound system scene for over twenty years. Period.

This project brought together what belongs together.

We wouldn't be Trust in Wax if we hadn't also given this project a remix. Atwashere fired up his machines and then switched on the double time gear. The result is something danceable, influenced by heavy bassy garage and driving two-step sounds.
